There are hundreds of souls who pray to Ashley on a regular basis. We have further learned of three miracles that can be attributed to Ashley's intercession to our Lord Jesus. There are likely many others that have happened. Ashley has interceded to Jesus for favors for those who pray to her.
In the summer of 2017, David Edwards, developed various neurological symptoms. Diagnostic testing was reviewed by four prominent neurosurgeons from various parts of the country who were in agreement that the most likely diagnosis was a tumor on his spine. The preliminary diagnosis was possible cancer which might require very risky spinal surgery. David and his wife Megan began to pray to Ashley that she would intercede to our Lord Jesus for a remedy for this condition.
In search of the proper treatment for David's condition, they went to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida for one week of further diagnostic testing in September of 2018. At the first visit to the Mayo Clinic, David wore his golf shirt that he received from the Ashley Code golf tournament. Also, Megan wore her Ashley Code golf tournament volunteer shirt during the week. Both he and Megan continued to pray to Ashley for her intercession and were at peace during this week of evaluation and testing as they felt the presence of Ashley guiding them. They even saw a picture of a butterfly on the wall of the office of the treating radiation neuro oncologist which reminded them of Ashley whose favorite image in nature was a butterfly.
David saw a team of physicians to evaluate his condition. The radiation neuro oncologist noticed swollen lymph nodes in the periphery of David's spine. None of the other physicians noticed these lymph nodes. This neuro oncologist ordered additional testing including a CT scan, a biopsy and blood work. These tests revealed a diagnosis of Neurosarcoidosis. This disease is very rare. It can affect the lungs and several other organs. For David, the disease was limited to a single lesion and never affected his lungs nor any other organs which is very unusual. He underwent ten months of high dose corticosteroid treatments and has been cured. David did not have to undergo the risky spinal surgery as originally discussed. This type of surgery almost certainly would have left him with neurological symptoms.
David and Megan prayed to Ashley for her intercession from the very beginning, all during the diagnosis and treatment process which lasted over a year and since that time for continued remission and that the condition does not return. They attribute the correct diagnosis, treatment and continued remission to cure Dave's condition to the intercession by Ashley to our Lord Jesus.
The Blanchard family are members of Saint Ann parish. They learned that Ashley had brain cancer in 2016. At the St. Ann school fair that year Laney Blanchard saw Ashley there. Laney believed that Ashley had a special aura about her as many people were surrounding her at the fair. The Blanchard family were sad to learn that Ashley had passed away.
In the 2020/21 school year, Charles Blanchard, is a sixth grade student at St. Ann school. In the early fall of this school year, Andrew Code gave Charles a tour of Brother Martin high school. Andrew Code is the brother of Ashley.
In November 2020, Charles Blanchard was diagnosed with a non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Laney began to pray to Ashley that she would intercede to Our Lord Jesus for a cure for her son. Charles underwent extensive treatment including multiple hospitalizations for his condition.
A prayer service was held at St. Ann church on 1/15/21 for Charles Blanchard and for another sixth grade student Gabriele Locassio. Father Billy O'Riordan did the homily at the prayer service. Approximately 125 people attended the prayer service in the church and another 175 folks attended on Facebook. During the service all in attendance prayed to Ashley that she would intercede to our Lord Jesus to cure these students from their cancer.
The same day as the prayer service, Charles underwent a PET scan test. On January 18, 2021, Laney Blanchard received news from the treating oncologist that the PET scan was normal and that the cancer was in remission.
Laney Blanchard believes that Ashley interceded to our Lord Jesus for her son Charles and that he was cured from cancer.
Seven or eight years ago Johnny DiMaggio had a root canal, dental implant and crown procedure on one of his teeth. About a year ago he started having tremendous pain every time he chewed on this tooth. After several visits to his dentist trying to resolve his pain, he was told that the x-rays revealed that the dental implant had separated from his jawbone. The implant was moving loosely similar to a loose tooth.
Shortly thereafter, Johnny was in church after mass and began praying to Ashley to intercede to God asking him to heal his tooth and save it from being lost. Thereafter, he prayed to Ashley every day for her intercession.
In early April of 2021, the pain in Johnnie's tooth stopped. He went to his dentist for a visit where x-rays were taken which revealed that the implant had reattached to the bone. The dentist remarked, "I've never seen this happen before. I've never seen bone spontaneously reattach on its own." The dentist has been practicing for over 30 years. Johnny explained to him that he had been praying to Ashley to intercede to God to stop the pain, heal the tooth and save it. The dentist was truly amazed by this miracle. Johnny believes that the miracle healing of his tooth was due to the intercession of Ashley to God.
